I was born in the UK. At age 18 I had lived in nine different countries and spoke four languages. My international upbringing helps me easily adapt to multicultural work environments.
My academic background in development economics motivated me to start working at the UN's World Health Organization.
Working with international media in war-torn countries and organising
international events for the UN made me want to dedicate myself to communications and be better at marketing and media relations.
So I joined a marketing company. I was advised that the fast-paced environment of marketing agencies would be the best school for understanding how organisations used communications to promote products, services and influence stakeholders.
Young & Rubicam did not disappoint.
I spent years working on global integrated PR and marketing campaigns before moving on to in-house public affairs and marketing roles.
Today, I proudly look back at what I have achieved.
I worked on diplomatic missions to help save the world from climate devastation, I relaunched a national travel brand and developed the world's largest B2B tourism digital networking platform.
I work hard.
Always.
I do not give up.
Most importantly, I commit to the people who trust me.
Providing added value on a daily basis is the key to being a successful professional.
At least that's how I see it.
